Type of role: Full-time
IABT’s youth programs enable Uttarakhand youth to increase their awareness of livelihood pathways and pursue livelihoods in self-employment through entrepreneurship. In this role, you will be managing youth programs in Hindi-speaking rural locations. You must be based in Delhi, Dehradun or another location in Uttarakhand (if not, be willing to relocate as needed).

Along with 2 partner organisations based in Auroville and Australia, IABT is working towards integrating research into the implementation of programs through this project aimed at capturing stories of community adaptation and resilience through locally-based climate change strategies, with a focus on the Western Himalayan region. You can be based anywhere, but experience working in the Himalayas and a willingness to travel is preferred.

If you are a born storyteller with the ability to sift out the most impactful methods of communication and engagement for a diverse set of stakeholders, we’d love to get you on board to build a strong brand identity for IABT and communicate our stories of change. We are open to volunteers, those looking to offer pro-bono help as well as candidates who would like to engage on a paid, part-time basis; the scope of work will be defined as per our discussion.
